Great (Geo)TIFF Resource

Posted by jeffhobbs on July 12, 2007

Sorry, didn’t get a chance to post yesterday. Will try and get a few up today and will start doing more on GeoMedia 6.1.

Anyhow, did want to post a link to a fantastic TIFF resource. They even have some information on how Intergraph directly writes and reads TIFFs. This is a good tie to my previous post “Sharing GeoTIFFs Between ArcGIS and GeoMedia”. Anyhow, the site is hosted by Aware [Systems]. They even have a great (free) TIFF tag reader. This tool works much like the tag reader inside of the free ISRU Toolkit delivered with GeoMedia Professional (by default located at C:\Program Files\GeoMedia Professional\Program\ISRUStandalone.exe).
